Fifth grade elementary art lessons on this web site are easy to follow with step-by-step photographs of each project. All art lessons leave room for creative expression. Fifth grade students will create a paper collage portrait of Benjamin Franklin. They will look at pictures of him as well as background information about his accomplishments. They will cut shapes out of colored construction paper and glue them on a background to create their art piece.
