objective
Second grade students will be able to make a piece of abstract art in the style of Joan Miro. Students will understand what abstract means and where the art comes from. Students will use thin black markers + colored markers or crayon to fill in geometric shapes.

2. Explain what abstract art is. That it is art from your imagination + no two are ever identical.
3. Explain to students that realistic art looks like something in 'the real world' or real life objects.
